STAKING PLAN

The world of horse racing is probably the one which, in betting terms, the most money moves, and probably the one which can best provide long term returns. At the same time we can say that the factors that influence the outcome of a race are so numerous, as is the case in any sport, that surprises are the order of the day. The percentage of punters who lose is quite high in relation to those who win. Our goal is to be among the winners, and this requires using an "Investment Plan" and not simply betting for the sake of betting.

That is why we always recommend prudent investment. We should only invest that which we won't need in the short term and decide on an "Investment Plan" in advance.

For example, suppose that, in the medium term, we have a bankroll of £1,000. A prudent approach might be to bet no more than 5% of this amount when using our Nap of the Day service and up to 1% when using our Backs of the Day (i.e. £50 and £10 based on a £1,000 bankroll respectively).

At the end of the month, and if we have been profitable, we will have two options: raise our bets or withdraw the returns and start again with a £1,000 bankroll.

If we decide to raise our bets, we would again follow the same rule. Following on from the above example, if at the end of the month we have £1,000 (initial bankroll) + £500 (profits), giving a total of £1,500, we would again follow the guidelines of 5% / 1% based on the new bankroll of £1,500 (i.e. £75 / £15), according to the service used.

However, the majority of professionals withdraw a percentage of their profits and reinvest the rest.
